كيم مودي عضو مؤسس في منظمة Labor Notes ، ومؤلف كتب عديدة في العمل والسياسة. يعمل حالياً باحثاً زائراً في جامعة وستمنستر Westminster في لندن، وعضو نقابة اتحاد الجامعات والكليات University and College Union ونقابة الاتحاد الوطني للصحفيين National Union of Journalists . يحمل كتابه الأخير عنوان:
Breaking the Impasse: Electoral Politics, Mass Action & the New Socialist Movement in the United States (Haymarket Books).
